पृथ्वीको ठुलो पन्नाहरुमा
बिना मशीको, काठको
ठुलो कलम काँधमा बोकेर,
आज पनि उ बेँसीतिर झरेको छ ।
जिन्दगीको धेरै घाम पानीहरु
वर्षौं देखी खेपेर
मृत्युलाई पर्खेरहेको त्यो बुढो मान्छे ।
आसिनापानीले बाली लैजादा
आफुलाई परिक्षामा असफल भएको ठान्ने
त्यो बुढो मान्छे
खेतका गराहरुमा हलो रुपी कलमले
जती जती माटोहरु पल्टाउदै जान्थ्यो,
त्यती त्यती खेतमा अक्षरहरु बन्दै जान्थे ।
जती सुकै मेहनत गरेर अक्षरहरु लेखे पनि
गरीबीको कक्षाबाट कहिल्यै पास हुन नसकेको
त्यो बुढो मान्छे
वर्षौंदेखी पुरानै कक्षामा पढिरहेको छ ।
बिल्कुल नयाँ किसिमको,
हाम्रो शब्दकोशमै नभएको अक्षरहरु
खेतको गराहरुमा लेखिरहेको छ ।
संसारकै शब्दकोशमा नभएको
अक्षर लेख्ने त्यो महान मानब
अझै पनि
आफ्नै भाषामा
कपुरी ‘क‘
लेखिरहेको छ ।

Thanks for ur another cration to fulfilling the desire of Nepalese heart. I thought while first time read this poem, how u have touched the so sensitive corner of the Nepal.
Ya, we have already kept steps in 21st century with leaving stone age in the any dark corner of the past womb. This is the generation of science and technology even our country has facing miserably those basic requirment. In time of online education, how to tolerate this sorrowful matter of napal i.e. people trying for KAPURI KA. Yes, really thanks to the writer for ur touchy feelings………..

As this character of poem आफुलाई परिक्षामा असफल भएको ठान्ने, as same i am also feeling failed in the exam of test in MILINIUM DEVELOPMENT GOAL i.e. main slogan of the decade. Thanks to writer for nice feelings through poem.
